Dinner at Swedish Ambassador's Residence (3/11/06)

The house was simply AWESOME!! So omg, it was like we were driving in on Andrew Rd, passed Mediacorp and was like wondering where the hell is 39! Just drive and drive then finally, we saw this super big house before seeing the house number and I was like "OMG! Don't tell me this is the one." And true enough, it is.

Too bad I had no pictures taken that night. The house was magnificent! It is not just a house, I think it is a mansion! Muahaha.. I sound like some sua ku Singaporean. Haha.. There's a swimming pool outside the house, in the compound and a koi pond inside the house, but behind glass panels as the whole house is air-conditioned. The interior decor and furniture all look like those from very high-end hotel suites. I was totally wow-ed that night! Needless to say, wow-ed by the beauty of the ang-mohs around me as well. Haha.. Now I really really regret not taking a photo of the house or with any of them.

The food was nice too! We had bread, salad, potatoes, grilled vegetables and meatballs. Muahaha.. There was wine too. I had white wine even though I was having meatballs, but I just preferred it better. Haaha.. Nice nice nice.. Everything about it is so nice! Muahaha.. Can't wait to leave this shithole man..

Dinner was a largely informal event as most of us just held our plates and stood around talking. Everyone was mingling around everyone else and I've got to know a few ang-mohs myself! Hehe..

Hee.. Everything was good. Just that the place was a little inaccessible. Haha.. Thanks to R for the lift there and PC's bro for the lift out! Ok, enough about the excitement. Haha.. Back to my 2000 words essay... =(
