Sigh.. Now I'm getting tired of blogging already. Haha.. Nevertheless, here are my latest updates of photos!
We went to Jäntorget yesterday to register for our Swedish Language Class. Chalmers is paying 1500:- for the course but we still have to pay 50:- as we had to the evening sessions. The worse thing is, it's not only 50:-. I don't know why, but the practice here is not to pay at the school but at a bank. For all charges, the school will issue an invoice and then, we will have to make our payments at the bank. And then, the happy little bank will charge us an additional 50:- for the payment. Sigh.. The person at the school told us to go to the bank opposite them to make payment as they have had an initial arrangement with them to charge only 20:- extra. So, there was a discount, but we still had to pay so much. Sigh.. So much for a FREE basic Swedish Language course.
Anyway, this is the place we went to. I din bother to take a photo of the school though. There's nothing interesting about it anyway. Just some language centre. This is the canal behind the school, in front of the fish church. I think it looks nice covered in snow. heheh..

The fish church! Haha.. Do fish go to church? That I don't know, but this is actually a fish market. As it's building structure resembles that of a church, the people here calls it the fish church. Quite nice, but despite being a market, the fish sold there is still very expensive. We bought 3 very thin slices of fish which cost us 54:-. You'll see it on our dinner table later.

Now this is a real church! Haha.. I don't know what kind of church it is though as I did not go in or even near it. I merely took this photo from the tram stop as it was just across the road. Hehe..

Now, here's the fish on our dinner table! L cooked the fish with meatballs, potatoes, vegetables in IKEA's meatball sauce and a bowl of thick Cream of Mushroom soup. This time, I did not help L to cook as I don't really eat fish so I don't know how to handle it at all. Haha.. I just helped with the peeling of the potatoes and the washing up later. Hehe.. The fish was nice la (IT BETTER BE!!) but I don't really eat fish in general, so what else can I say about it?

There're some other photos actually. But they are in L's or R's camera and they haven't uploaded. So maybe I'll talk about them next time when I can get the photos from them! That's all for now. My timetable's really packed now as I took on another course (aka module). Have a look:

I do have a lesson on Friday if you were thinking that at least I still have a free weekday. Haha.. It is just not reflected in this time table as the Friday lesson for next week is cancelled. The schedule for lessons here is different from NUS as there's no fixed timetable. It changes every week kind but in general it should be about the same la.
Oh, PC's coming over today to visit over the weekend! Hopefully I can bring her to some nice places then we can take more photos for you all! Till then...
