SUSANNA KWAN won the Most Favourite Female Character Award!!
(A big surprise for her baddie role in Heart of Greed)

I think the TVB Awards are so of standard (as compared to Singapore's). Looking at their actors and actresses who get awards (and don't get), Singapore's artistes just pale so much in comparison. Even young and promising A-list stars like Charmaine Sheh, Jessica Hsuan, Kevin Cheng and Steven Ma failed to clinch any awards, while older actresses like Lei Si Kei and Susanna Kwan bags the Best Actress Award and Most Favourite Female Character Award respectively. Kudos to TVB!!

Needless to say, having swept most of the major awards, Heart of Greed unsurprisingly won the Best Series Award while my favourite drama, Dicey Business was one of the Top 3. Unfortunately for the "BIG blockbuster" production, The Drive of Life did not win any awards except for the Best Promotional Clip. Yet, I do agree that Heart of Greed is definitely a much better series than The Drive of Life.

Haha.. Good luck to me. My first paper is tomorrow and I am still keeping up with TVB news and playing with babies.
