As I was in the MRT going to town yesterday, a gay couple stood in front of me. And the auntie sitting beside me seemed particularly disturbed by their minimal acts of affection. She probably wouldn't have such explicit disgust if one of them were female. I don't know if I should say poor auntie or poor men.

I guess we are all confined to societal norms in one way or another - going to Uni, going to work, getting married (to the opposite sex), etc. Where there is society there will be norms and there will be outcasts. Do one then strive for happiness or acceptance?
