It's my life

I want to spread my wings and fly.. Glide above the oceans.. View the world from above and laugh at all the stupidity beneath me.. I just wish.. Sometimes... When I have the time...

I'm back from Kiruna! Haha.. Finally. Enjoyed the trip a lot but one sad thing about it is that I paid S$600 to go all the way up north to see the Northern Lights and I didn't get to see it. Sigh. Just my luck I guess. But I dun think I'll be making another trip up again as it's freaking cold up there (about -25 degrees celsius average) and I dun have the money. Haha.. So here I am , keeping my promise to clear my blog debts and at least finish updating you guys about my Norway trip.

1 Feb - 4 Feb (Bergen, Norway)

Alright, so we took the train to Bergen in the evening after taking the touristy train ride and reached in the night. Oh, I just realised that I had forgotten to take photos of my hostel there! Haha.. Oops! Anyway, Bergen is famous for its wet weather and true enough, we got to experience the rain. Luckily the rain was just a light drizzle, but still, we couldn't take the tram up the hill to see its nice view as it was misty and we felt that it wouldn't be worthwhile. Anyway, we walked around the town area and enjoyed whatever view we could see. Haha..

This is an old church building somewhere near the hostel i stayed in. Somehow it just reminded me of Macau, with the very many churches all over the place. There weren't so many here though.

Streets of Bergen.

The tourist information centre. Nice interior ya? I bought a postcard here to send home. But I chose to send it in Oslo instead (which you will see later) so that I can have a Bergen postcard with an Oslo stamp on it. Haha..

We bought fresh seafood from the market for lunch that day and here's how our prawn looked like! Haha.. Small but with A LOT of eggs. We had other food like smoked Salmon and crab and we cooked a pot of instant tomato soup to go with it. Yummy!

Yup, that's all about the Bergen trip. Nothing much here due to the wet weather and small town. Up next, Oslo!
