It's my life

I want to spread my wings and fly.. Glide above the oceans.. View the world from above and laugh at all the stupidity beneath me.. I just wish.. Sometimes... When I have the time...

Snow, snow, snow.. The snow was heavy and the wind was strong. Today is a cold, cold day. Just when I thought it was getting brighter and warmer here. It is no joke walking against the wind and having the snow smack on your face when it flew horizontally and fast because of the strong winds. I so don't wanna go to school. Hahahahha.. Excuses.

Well, I still went to school today. And 'nice' R helped me to take a photo while I was presenting with my group in front of the class. Why is he 'nice'? Cos he had bad intentions!! Bleah!
This is the photo R took. He took it cos he wanted to show how tall the ang mohs are (In other words, how short I am). Yeah, and that's me as indicated by the red arrow. Just in case I looked too short to be true, we are indeed standing on the same level platform. Sigh..

Alright, enough of my self-suaning. Back to clear my blog debts. Coming soon... Stockholm!

14 Feb (Stockholm, Sweden)

So I stopped by Stockholm for about 10 hours during my return from Kiruna. Luckily I had a kind PY to bring me around so I won't have to roam the streets alone, carrying my uber heavy backpack. Haha..
This is me and PY, photo taken outside the City Hall in Stockholm at night which explains the dark background. He was invited for a dinner there so I tagged along to see how the famous City Hall looked like. If I'm not wrong, the City Hall is the place where they give out the Nobel Prizes.

The interior of the Central Station and the City Terminalen respectively. I was pleasantly surprised to see 2 Cafe Ritazzas here. Haha.. I never knew it was a popular cafe chain as it was quite boh mia when I first saw it open in Changi Airport Terminal 1. I was wrong once again. Haha..

The streets of Stockholm. Nothing much here. Just a common street with shops on both sides. Most of the streets in Stockholm looks like this.

And PY brought me to Gamla Stan (where he brought everyone who comes to visit) to see the narrowest street in Stockholm! The street was just as wide as the length of my arm.

We also came to the Royal Palace! But we didn't go in as there is no free admission. Haha.. Typical cheapskate the la. But I think there's nothing interesting inside also, so haha.. I would love to believe that I did not miss out on anything! Hehe..

And this is the Absolut Ice Bar Stockholm. I did not go in as there was a LOOOOONNNGG queue waiting to go in and it is not an affordable place to be at. There are 4 Ice Bars in the world I think: Milan, Tokyo, Stockholm, Jukkasjärvi; with one more opening in Copenhagen.

That's it for Stockholm! Haha.. Short and sweet hor? Just like me. Muahahhahahhahaha...
