Today is Sunday! Haha.. And I was supposed to be studying. But then.. I think you know what's coming next.. Haha.. And so, we went to the flea market today. We were invited to V&V's place last night for a sumptuous pork chop with broccoli and mashed potatoes treat for dinner! It was fabulous.. Haha.. Last week we invited them to our place for a simple fare of Japanese curry, fried rice, onion omelette and mudpie and fondue for desserts. So paiseh, cos I think our food not very nice. Haha.. Anyway, these are the people who were there that day!
The two tall "ang mohs" in the middle are Swedes. T.K.N., u interested in either one? Haha.. They are students though. Hehe..


And our 4 guests each brought a bottle of wine. L and R don't really drink so I don't drink much here also. Not that I take wine when I am at home. Haha.. I don't know how to judge a good or bad wine, but I like 3 of them. The one on the left is white wine and I like it a lot! I've always preferred white wines for its lighter body and sweet taste. The rest are red wines and they are not bad too. Only one I don't really fancy is the one with the golden wire wrapped around it. It's has a bit of after taste so I don't really like it.

Anyway, while we at V&V's place last night, they told us that we actually have a weekend flea market here in Gothenburg as well! Cool! Now we can finally get cheap food and stuff. Hehe.. But most of the stuff like electronics and usables are usually 2nd-hand ones la. The vegetables and fruits are a good buy though. And we definitely did not go home empty handed!

The fruits and vegetables section. We bought like one to two weeks' supply of veggies and fruits - 3 lettuce, 3 cucumber, 2 broccoli, some tomatoes, 11 banana, a bag of green seedless grapes.
Little baby eating a banana fresh from the basket! Haha.. People here likes to eat bananas a lot too! Oh, they don't have strawberries at this flea market! I am SO SAD. The strawberries cost a bomb in the supermarkets - on average about 18.90SEK (S$4.20) for about 100g of strawberries.

Outdoor "pasarmalam". They have rather cheap clothes here, really like those kinds in our pasarmalam in Singapore.

Indoor 'pasarmalam". They also have like a warehouse thing for some stalls inside. There are about 3 or 4 of them I think. Inside here, they have stalls selling kitchen ware, 2nd-hand electronics, CDs, toys, toiletries, etc.

Haha.. Ok, let's back track to yesterday again. Haha.. Cos we have an interesting event which I MUST talk about. Muahaha.. WE KOPED A BED FRAME FROM V&V's PLACE!!!!

Yeah, and we carried it all the way from Gilbraltargatan to Medicinaregatan, which is about 3km apart, at about 11pm in the night. And we had to walk through school so I think we made a really funny sight. Imagine 3 foreign students in NUS carrying a bed frame from one end of the campus to the other end.

So now, here's my cosy little corner in the room. I sleep beside the heater so it's a warm and comfortable. Well, I refused to buy a bed sheet so I use my sleeping bag to lay on top of the bed. The blue bed sheet you see here is koped as well. Hurhur.. R koped it from Connex when they took the sleeper couchette to Kiruna!!


Haha.. Ok, that's it for today. Exams are next week! PLEASE remind me that I HAVE TO STUDY. Hahahhaahahaha....
