Nothing much going on these days. Still trying to study for my exams but haven't gotten into the exams mood yet (And I've already finished one paper!) Haha... Life is so different here as compared to NUS. 4 hour long exams, no bell curve, one lesson per day, 3 days week, drama-ing during exams period, re-exams, free exams review, bargaining of marks... ... Life is just so different.
Singapore and Sweden. The grass is always greener on the other side, so needless to say, I definitely prefer the other side. In Sweden, people are taught to share and survive together. No bell curve, so we can work together and get good grades together. In Singapore, people are forced to compete and step on each other. It's either you fail or someone else does, so why share and reduce your probability of surviving? Someone once told me something that I did not realise before: Singapore is not good. It's because of the bell curve that we seem good. Why? Because we are seemingly better than those around, hence, we are better. Therefore, we are good. But are we really good?
Getting a little philosophical down here. Haha.. Thinking a lot, wanted to write a lot. But I guess it's time to stop. Let's lighten up!
On Sunday (20/5/07), we went to play basketball again! Yeah! This time at Volrat Thams, SN's place. I pulled my butt muscle while playing basketball with R, L and XN on Saturday so I couldn't really play on Sunday. Nevertheless, we played 3 games, rotating amongst the players L, R, S and SN to form different teams. We played short games of soccer, floorball (L and R) and badminton (S and SN) too! After which, we had a traditional Chinese dinner prepared by SN. DELICIOUS!!!

Oh! Look!! That's me! Round and happy!!! Muahahahahhahahahaha.......
